CAMBIONET INTERNATIONAL NGO, FOR A REGENERATIVE AND SYMBIOTIC BIOECONOMY IN CARIBBEAN AND AMAZONIAN TERRITORIES<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Faced with alarming figures regarding food dependency, the degradation of rural areas and natural resources, unemployment, and insecurity, compounded by the current health crisis and geopolitical instability, it necessitates the construction of a shared strategic vision. Efforts should be made to jointly steer this vision to achieve results on significant scales for lasting impact and to build resilience. In this context, agriculture can serve as a true strategic lever, incorporating the use of both traditional and cutting-edge scientific technologies for small-scale production and agro-transformation for food valorization, integrated within circular economies and distribution schemes designed on the scale of connected, intelligent, and attractive territories.<\/p>\n

–<\/b>CambioNet International NGO<\/strong> aims to address this challenge through the mobilization of countries within the major geopolitical blocs of the Greater Insular Caribbean and Continental Caribbean, i.e., the Greater Antilles, Lesser Antilles, Guiana Shield, and the Caribbean facade of Central America. “The objective we pursue is threefold:<\/p>\n

  1. Define an integrative and unifying strategic framework<\/b> for the agroecological, food, climate, and bioeconomic transition of diverse agricultures in the Caribbean\/Amazon region, in response to the major challenges we are addressing;<\/li>\n
  2. Drive a strong dynamic of innovation<\/b> in a network to enhance the economic and environmental performance of diverse agricultural operations, especially those of small scale, essential for the viability of our territories. They play a crucial role in ensuring food security, maintaining rural fabric by making it more attractive in terms of employment for younger generations, and adapting to climate change;<\/li>\n
  3. Co-build<\/b> public policies capable of supporting this transition and ensuring its medium to long-term impacts.”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Pour ce faire, nous pr\u00e9voyons une articulation \u00e9troite entre la mutualisation des comp\u00e9tences et des savoirs (r\u00e9seaux d\u2019agriculteurs, de recherche et formation, de conseil et d\u2019innovation, biblioth\u00e8que num\u00e9rique, open data), les approches participatives au sein de dispositifs pour l\u2019innovation ouverte (living labs in networks<\/a>), supporting solutions (incubators et start ups<\/a>), up to the beneficiaries (territorial action plans).<\/p>\n

    The long-term integration of this action is planned through the implementation of sustainable development tools via the NGO CambioNet International, the consolidation of network synergies (Biodiversity, Innovation, Agroecology, Adaptation to Climate Change, Bioeconomy, Public Policies), and the contribution to the establishment of sustainable development policies for the Caribbean\/Amazon.<\/p>\n

    The fulfillment of the ambition carried by the CambioNet project (Interreg<\/a> V Cara\u00efbe, 2021-2023) et now CambioNet International NGO<\/strong>crucial for a large-scale integration of key principles for the sustainable development of our Caribbean\/Amazon region, cannot be achieved without the will and involvement of governments and regional institutions, whose validation and support we strongly seek.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    WHY AN NGO, WHAT MISSIONS, WHAT GOVERNANCE?
    <\/strong><\/h2>\n

    CambioNet International is an NGO dedicated to innovation and progress in the Caribbean\/Amazon region. <\/b>There are many NGOs in the region working in the field of humanitarianism, playing a crucial role in raising awareness about inequalities and being essential in conflict resolution. They urge state authorities to take action, engage in lobbying, and alert public opinion.<\/p>\n

    CambioNet International NGO aligns with this approach, yet distinguishes itself by its commitment to anticipate and create favorable conditions for the flourishing of populations in a virtuous manner.<\/p>\n

    To meet the objectives of this significant and new Caribbean\/Amazon ambition<\/b>, several conditions deserve to be fulfilled:<\/p>\n
